USC at Notre Dame, 34-31: "History In The Making"

clutch: tending to be successful in tense or critical siutations.
1. Reggie Bush amassed for a career-high three touchdowns while subsequently accumulating 163 yards on only 15 carries, despite a bruised knee. Reggie Bush is clutch. 2. Dwayne Jarrett was plagued with double vision as a result of an injury to his right eye in the third quarter but still managed a 61-yard catch on fourth-and-9 with 1:32 to play while down 31-28. Dwayne Jarrett is clutch. 3. Matt Leinart, who only completed 17-32 passes with no touchdowns and two interceptions, was frustrated and bruised. However the 2004 Heisman Trophy winner, with inches from the goal and 0:07 on the clock, ran slightly to the left into the pile of bodies and then spun into the endzone--history in the making. Matt Leinart is clutch. 4. Despite being down at the half. Despite Desmond Reed suffering an injury to his knee. Despite being down 31-28 with less than two minutes to go in the fourth. Despite being surrounded by 80,795 fans who would hope for nothing better than to see you lose. Despite the passing interference, the personal fouls, the holding, all the penalty calls. Despite all of that, the USC Trojans persevered and left no doubt as to why they were nationally ranked number one. The USC Trojans are clutch.
The untouchable... the unstoppable... the unbeatable... the back-to-back National Champions... the USC Trojans.
My deepest rspect and regards to the football god for our 28th straight win. Much love to the players for a game well-played and a victory well-deserved.
"Victories that are easy are cheap. Those only are worth having which come as the result of hard fighting."
This is my very first update since school started all the way back in August-who-knows-when. The number of pictures have amassed up into the hundreds and continue to rise till this very day. However a xanga entry is never complete without pictures, therefore I feel a couple of pictures here and there are in order.

Trying to get some shuteye in before the game (5:30am) but that idea was quickly discarded. Why are the two heaviest people on top?
 Our captains doing their thang.
To Michelle: My facial expression would be exactly the same if I was standing next to all that "goodness".
Yeolizzle + me = HOTNESS I'm straining my neck because I'm trying to make my head look smaller than her head by moving it further back.
USC KSA reppin' it at the game (A-Ma is missing cause he's kickin' it at the UCLA v. Cal game and Roy is missing cause he likes to drop in late).
From left to right--content, comical, depressed.
Ivan and me sporting girls' sunglasses. Gangsta no doubt.
Sleep is biting me in the ass and there's so much more to add. I'll save the choiciest pieces for last... My Birthday Dinner @ Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ Curry House The Date ...and most like included in the next update... KSA Retreat
I'll end this long-ass entry with one more picture for all you UCLA fans out thurr (dedicated especially to you, Steve). A preview of the December 3rd game at the USC Coliseum. Enjoy fool girls.
"Bush, he's a dynamic player," Charlie Weis, Notre Dame head-coach said. "I said it all last week--he's a reincarnation of Marshall Faulk. This kid can do it all. Everytime he touches the ball he can possibly score. He can and he did."
